M.IQ (Manufacturing Intelligence) is Gemixx’s operator-backed consulting practice for brands manufacturing in India — strategy, costing, vendor development, quality, compliance, and scale. We don't charge a commission on your goods, and we don't lead with a price. Every engagement starts with an honest conversation about whether we can genuinely move your business — and only once there's a fit do we talk about how we're paid.
Three models. Nothing hidden.
Which one applies depends on your needs — not on what earns us the most. We tell you up front which it is.
1. Network Utilization PRIMARY MODEL
When our own factory network is the right fit, we're compensated simply through its utilization. You pay the factory directly — no commission on your orders, no middleman markup. Incentives are aligned from day one. Think of it like AWS: infrastructure we built to run our own operations, opened up for you to build on.
2. Service Fees
When your needs fall outside our network, we work on scoped, milestone-based fees agreed in writing up front. No large upfront retainer, and no lock-in until we've shown real value. You always know what you're paying for and why.
3. Equity Participation
Rare, and reserved for brands we're deeply aligned with over the long term. Equity is always something we raise — never something a brand requests to secure our help — and it's discussed late in a relationship, never early.
