Commercial flatware for hotels, restaurants and caterers

Commercial flatware is judged on different things from retail flatware. A hotel or restaurant needs pieces that survive a commercial dishwasher, edges that do not catch and a supplier who can ship by the container. This page is for purchasing managers, distributors and hospitality importers looking for restaurant flatware wholesale or hotel flatware wholesale. It describes our commercial flatware collection and how to order from it.

The commercial flatware collection

Our March 2026 catalogue sets out eighteen open-stock hospitality patterns, plus fifteen stand, caddy and boxed sets. The collection is built for hotels, restaurants, contract caterers and event hire. Patterns carry names such as Corda, Stilo, Fuso, Classico, Piano, Onda, Continental, Oxford, Martello, Trellis, Aria, Facet, Anello, Minima, Savoy, Classico Gold, Continental Gold and Aurea.

What makes flatware commercial grade

Gauge: 1.7 mm is the standard gauge, 1.8 mm applies to the gold ranges, and knives are 2.0 mm. Corda, Stilo and Fuso gauge is confirmed at sample. Gauge is stated in millimetres so you can compare it against other quotes.

Steel: stainless steel in AISI 304 (18/8) or AISI 202, with the grade fixed when you order. Read the difference in 18/10 vs 18/8 vs 18/0 flatware.

Edges: the mirror polish is buffed with no burr, so the edges are finished smooth.

Washing: the mirror-polish patterns are described as commercial dishwasher safe.

Traceability: a mill test certificate is supplied per lot.

Grip and surface: patterns include ribbed, tapered, turned, spatula, hammered, engraved and faceted handles, so a hotel can choose a quiet profile or a statement one.

Open stock: build a service piece by piece

Every pattern is open stock, which means each piece is an individual SKU, priced and packed independently. A pattern runs to 14 to 16 items, from baby spoons and tea spoons to soup spoons, dessert forks, serving spoons, rice spoons and 2.0 mm dessert knives. A restaurant that only needs dinner forks and dessert spoons can order only those, and re-order a single piece later without buying a full set.

Restaurant flatware wholesale: stock and made-to-order patterns

Stock patterns ship on standard lead time from running production. Made-to-order patterns are confirmed against a reference sample before the order is placed. Corda, Stilo, Fuso and Aurea are made to order in the catalogue, and the other fourteen are stock patterns. Stock status can change, so confirm it when you ask for pricing.

Hotel flatware wholesale: sets, stands and gift packs

Some hospitality buyers want a presentation format, for buffets, room service, banquets or retail in a hotel shop. The collection includes 24-piece and 25-piece stand sets with laser-etched chequer or mosaic handles on wire stands, boxed caddy and rack sets in gold and black, and gift range sets such as a fitted case service and a walnut-finish rack set. Gift range sets are developed to your piece count, finish and presentation requirement, and composition is confirmed at sample.

Gold PVD for hospitality

Our gold PVD patterns use the heavier 1.8 mm gauge. Match the finish to your wash process and test a sample before a large order. More on colours is on the gold and PVD flatware page.

Packing, lead time and terms

Packing: a poly sleeve per piece, a plain inner carton and a 5-ply master carton within 60 cm, with no branding or labelling unless specified.

Samples: 21 to 25 days.

Production: 75 to 90 days.

Pricing: issued separately on a quotation per pattern and volume tier, on FOB Nhava Sheva terms.

Minimum quantity: depends on the pattern, the pieces and the packaging, so give us the quantities per piece and we quote against them.
