Gold flatware wholesale: PVD finishes in gold, rose gold, black and copper

Most buyers who search for gold flatware wholesale are really choosing a finish: how warm the gold should be, whether it should be bright or matte, and whether the colour will hold up in use. This page covers the colour range we apply to stainless steel flatware, what PVD means, and what to specify when you ask for a sample. We are the manufacturer, with our own factory in Moradabad, India.

Gold flatware wholesale: the colours we apply

Gold PVD: a classic yellow gold, bright or matte, used on place settings, serving sets and caddy sets.

Champagne gold PVD: a softer, paler gold that reads closer to brass and suits neutral tables.

Matte gold flatware: a low-sheen gold that shows fingerprints less than a mirror finish. Matte gold appears in our finish catalogs.

Rose gold flatware: a pink-toned gold, available as rose-gold PVD in our commercial slimline sets.

Black flatware: black PVD on stainless steel, and matte black in our finish catalogs.

Copper flatware: a copper tone for warm, rustic tabletop collections.

Our finish catalogs show each colour as brilliant or matte, and list antique silver, brilliant silver and matte silver alongside the golds, so one pattern can be developed as a full colour family.

What PVD flatware means

PVD stands for physical vapor deposition. A thin coating is laid down on the stainless steel inside a vacuum chamber, so the colour is bonded to the steel body rather than painted or lacquered on. The colour comes from the coating material and its thickness, and a buyer should ask any manufacturer how colour is matched and checked from lot to lot. PVD is a common way to produce gold, champagne, black and rose-gold flatware.

Choosing a finish for the way the flatware will be used

Hospitality: our commercial collection uses a mirror polish as standard, with gold PVD ranges in 1.8 mm gauge. Specify the colour and the wash process together.

Retail and gifting: matte gold, rose gold and black work in sets and caddies, where the finish is the first thing a customer sees.

Mixed tables: pair a gold PVD body with a contrasting handle material, or use a black PVD body with hammered gold handles, as in our Noir & Gold Hammered set.

Gold and PVD sets in the commercial range

Our March 2026 commercial catalogue lists gold PVD stock patterns (Oxford and Classico Gold among them), a gold PVD hammered wire-stand set, a black and gold hammered set, a full gold PVD slimline set and a rose-gold slimline set. Caddy sets pair gold PVD flatware with a laser-cut gold caddy, a solid-wood frame with brass fittings, or a black lacquered base.

How to specify gold flatware for a sample

Colour reference: send a physical chip, a swatch or a photo under daylight, and tell us if the finish must be bright or matte.

Pattern and pieces: name the pattern and which pieces need the finish, whether forks and spoons only or knives too.

Steel and gauge: confirm the grade and the gauge. Our master catalog states 18/8, and gold ranges in the commercial catalogue use 1.8 mm.

Quantity and packing: gold flatware is often packed in sleeves or presentation boxes, which we quote with the pieces.

Lead times and minimums

Handmade pieces take 40 to 60 days after sample approval, and sampling is priced separately. Quantities depend on the silhouette, the finish and the packaging, so name the colour and the volume you want and we will price both.

Questions about gold flatware wholesale

Can you match my gold colour?

Send a physical reference and we will tell you what is achievable on a sample you approve before production.

Do you make matte gold flatware?

Yes. Matte gold is shown in our finish catalogs, and our gold ranges can be developed as bright or matte.

Is rose gold flatware available in a full set?

Yes. Our commercial catalogue includes a rose-gold PVD slimline set, and rose gold is listed in our finish catalogs.

Do you make black flatware?

Yes. Black PVD is a standard finish for us, and it pairs well with hammered or gold handles.

Is PVD flatware dishwasher safe?

Test PVD colours in your own wash cycle; strong detergents and abrasive loads can wear any coating. We recommend hand-washing decorative gold sets.
