Wooden beaded curtains, made to order
Because we make the dowels and do the stringing ourselves, a wooden bead door curtain can be specified the way a furniture piece is: bead shape, size, finish and spacing, agreed on a sample before production.
Wooden beaded curtains are the quiet member of the family. They move with a soft knock rather than a chime, they warm up a doorway without competing with the room, and they suit buyers who sell natural, earthy or relaxed interiors. We make them to order for retailers, brands, designers and hospitality projects, strung on wooden dowels made in our own wood factory in Saharanpur, a woodworking town in Uttar Pradesh.

Because we make the dowels and do the stringing ourselves, a wooden bead door curtain can be specified the way a furniture piece is: bead shape, size, finish and spacing, agreed on a sample before production.
Wood behaves differently from glass and acrylic, and that changes how a curtain is designed.
Weight: wood is lighter than glass, so a strand of wooden door beads hangs with less tension. Designs often use larger beads, longer beads or a weighted end bead so the strand falls straight.
Sound: a soft, low knock when people walk through, which is why wood is popular in bedrooms, spas and quiet retail spaces.
Colour: natural grain varies from bead to bead. That variation is part of the look, so it is approved on the sample rather than held to a single chip.
Durability: wood does not shatter, which makes it a practical choice for family homes and busy doorways.
Plain natural strands: one or two bead shapes repeated down the drop, the simplest and most economical construction.
Wood with accents: wooden strands punctuated with glass or acrylic beads at set intervals, for colour without losing the natural look.
Shaped openings: arches and swags, where strands are cut to different lengths so the curtain frames the doorway.
Graded tones: light and dark wood arranged by a colour-count sheet to build stripes, chevrons or waves.
Colour-finished wood: wood finished in a colour matched to your reference, confirmed on the sample.
Mixing materials is often the best value: wood carries most of the length at low weight, and a smaller number of glass beads adds the sparkle. Our acrylic vs glass vs wood comparison explains the trade-offs.
We agree the bead shapes and sizes from your reference and show a rough cost sheet.
A sample is strung, typically within 16 to 20 days, and photographed for approval.
In production each strand is strung to the approved sheet and fixed to a wooden dowel or rod.
Strands are checked for length and spacing before packing.
Home retail: natural and boho ranges, often alongside rattan, jute and macrame.
Hospitality: spa treatment rooms, beach bars and restaurant service doors, where a soft sound matters.
Wellness and yoga studios: a light visual screen between spaces that still lets air through.
Event styling: rustic and outdoor-wedding backdrops, where a natural material photographs well.
Wood moves with humidity, so tell us where the curtains will be sold and stored. Wooden beaded curtains should be dusted, not soaked. See how to hang beaded curtains for care. Because wood does not break, packing is about keeping strands from tangling: strands are kept in order on the dowel and packed to your carton and label specification.
Minimums depend on the bead shapes and how much of the design is patterned, so give us your target quantity per colourway.
