Acrylic beaded curtains in the colours you specify

Acrylic beaded curtains are where colour programmes live. Acrylic beads are injection-moulded and dyed to the colour you specify, so a buyer can match a season palette, a brand colour or a full rainbow without being limited to what a bead supplier happens to stock. They are light, they do not shatter, and they ship economically, which makes them the workhorse of most colourful ranges we make.

Acrylic beaded curtains in the colours you specify

We make acrylic curtains to order for retailers, brands, kids and dorm ranges, hospitality projects and event companies. Every colourway is matched and sampled before production.

What acrylic makes possible

Exact colour: beads are dyed to a Pantone reference or a physical chip, and checked against the approved sample before stringing.

Matte or gloss: the same colour can look soft and chalky or bright and candy-like.

Shapes beyond round: cubes and faceted beads give a design its own silhouette.

Light weight: an acrylic curtain is much lighter than the same design in glass, which helps on tension rods and on freight cost.

Colorful beaded curtains and rainbow designs

A rainbow bead curtain is a good example of why the stringing plan matters. A gradient runs either across the strands, so each strand is one colour and the colours step from left to right, or down the strands, so every strand carries the full spectrum. Each version needs its own colour-count sheet, and the sheet decides how the bands line up when the curtain hangs.

Other colorful beaded curtains we develop include:

Colour blocks and stripes, with two to five colours in clean bands.

Scattered accents, where coloured beads sit at intervals on a clear or neutral strand.

Graphic motifs: hearts, flowers, waves and checks, strung bead by bead to the sheet.

Scalloped and pointed hems, where strand lengths vary to give the bottom edge a shape.

Acrylic or plastic beaded curtain: what buyers mean

Buyers and shoppers use both terms. A plastic beaded curtain usually means a low-cost, light curtain of moulded beads; acrylic is one of the plastics used for them, and the one we use. What separates one acrylic curtain from another is bead quality, colour consistency, stringing and finishing, not the name. We list the bead and the dowel on the cost sheet so you can compare like with like.

How an acrylic colour programme runs

You send the palette and a reference design.

We propose bead sizes and shapes and show a rough cost sheet before sampling.

Colours are matched and a sample is strung, usually within 16 to 20 days.

Once approved, production follows the sample and the colour-count sheet.

Adding a colourway to an approved design is usually quicker and cheaper than a new design, because the bead sizes and stringing plan are already proven. A new bead shape may need a new mould, which we raise at the cost-sheet stage.

Where acrylic beaded curtains sell

Kids, teen and dorm ranges, where colour and low weight both matter.

Gift and lifestyle stores running seasonal palettes.

Hospitality and retail interiors that want a bright doorway feature.

Events and pop-ups, where curtains are handled, shipped and re-hung often.

Care and packing

Acrylic strands can be washed in lukewarm soapy water and left to dry fully while hanging; keep the wooden dowel out of the water, and avoid solvents. See how to hang beaded curtains for care. Because they do not break, packing is about keeping the strands in order and the colours clean. We pack to your carton and labelling specification, so curtains arrive ready for your shelf or your fulfilment centre.

Quantities for acrylic programmes

Colour programmes are priced per design and colourway, so list the colourways you plan with a quantity for each.

Good to Know

Questions buyers ask about acrylic beaded curtains

Can you match our exact colour?

Yes. We dye acrylic beads to a Pantone reference or a physical chip and confirm the colour on a sample before production.

Do acrylic beaded curtains break?

Acrylic does not shatter like glass, which is why it suits kids rooms, events and busy doorways.

Can you make a rainbow bead curtain?

Yes. Tell us whether the colours should change across the strands or down each strand, and we write the colour-count sheet to suit.

Are acrylic curtains cheaper than glass?

Usually the beads are lighter and cheaper to ship, but bead size, strand count and pattern also drive the price.

Can we mix acrylic and glass in one curtain?

Yes. A few glass beads on an acrylic curtain add weight and sparkle where it matters.
