Clay shrinks as it dries and fires, so lid fit is the main quality risk with ceramic jars, especially airtight and storage styles. Specify the closure you want, such as a ceramic lid or a lid with a gasket, and how tight the seal must be. Fit is checked on the approved sample, and our Noida team then runs first-article and lot AQL inspection on production, including lid fit, before export packing. Agree on the acceptable gap or seal test in your quote so everyone inspects to the same standard.

It depends on the glaze. Matte and gloss glazes can be held close to an approved color standard from jar to jar and order to order. Reactive glazes change as they fire, so no two pieces look the same; buyers choose them for that handmade look. For a canister set sold together, pick a stable glaze or approve a range of acceptable variation on samples. The approved sample is kept as the reference for every reorder.

Yes. Jars can be packed in plain export cartons for store replenishment, in gift boxes, or in custom private-label packaging with your branding and barcodes. For online sellers, we can supply individually boxed, drop-ship-ready SKUs. Packing and labeling are done at our Noida facility after final inspection. Packaging affects MOQ and unit cost, so include your packaging choice in the brief and we will price it in your quote.

A landed-duty-paid (LDP) quote is a single delivered price per jar at your chosen US location. It covers manufacturing, export, ocean freight, US import duties, customs clearance and delivery, handled by Gemixx and its US entity, Gemixx USA LLC. You do not need a separate freight forwarder or customs broker. This makes it easier to compare an overseas manufacturer with a domestic distributor on a like-for-like basis, since the distributor's price already includes those costs.
