Production lead time for glass is 40 to 60 days after sample approval. New custom molds or complex finishes add development and sampling time before that, which is confirmed in your quote.

Products are shipped landed duty paid (LDP) directly to your US fill site or warehouse. Gemixx manages manufacturing, freight, duties, and import in-house, eliminating the need for agents or brokers and reducing the risk of split shipments or unexpected customs costs.

Straight-sided tumblers have the same diameter from base to rim. The melt pool stays even as the candle burns down, one wick size can serve the whole burn, and labels wrap cleanly. Tapered or rocks-style tumblers look softer and nest for storage, but they get narrower toward the base, so the wick may tunnel near the bottom. Base wick testing on the narrowest point. Both shapes can be made from existing molds or a custom mold at Gemixx's Firozabad plant, and MOQ depends on which mold and finish you choose.

The wick follows the tumbler's inside diameter, not its height. A wider tumbler needs a larger wick or more than one wick to melt wax out to the wall, and the right size also depends on your wax and fragrance load. Specify fill by net wax weight, not brim capacity, and leave headspace below the rim. Before you approve a production sample, burn-test it in your own wax and fragrance. Your wick supplier's charts are a starting point. Your test burns of the actual vessel are what you should approve against.

Lid fit is set by the tumbler's mouth diameter. Gemixx's candle-vessel lid range is organised by mouth diameters from 50 mm to 100 mm, in bamboo, cork, metal-ring glass and metal. Some combinations are made to order with new tooling, for example metal-ring glass lids at the smaller diameters and bamboo or cork at 100 mm. Tell us the tumbler and lid style together, and physical finish samples on the actual lid or vessel come with the quote, so you can check the seal before production.

Colored glass, such as amber, green, blue or smoke, carries its color through the wall, so it cannot chip or wear off and it handles heat like clear glass. Frosting, cutting and etching also change the glass surface itself. Printed or applied decoration sits on the surface, so check it near the rim, where the flame and wax heat it most, and ask for it on your sample before approval. All Gemixx candle glass is thermal-shock tested. Burn-test whichever finish you pick in your own wax before you place the full order.
